Terry Flettrich Rohe (1917-2016)

Our hearts and thoughts are with our dear friend Alexa Pulitzer and her family today, as we celebrate the life of Terry Flettrich Rohe who passed today at the age of 99. Popularly known as  the host and producer of the landmark news-talk program “Midday” and as children’s show host Mrs. Muffin at the dawn of the local TV era, Ms. Rohe was drawn to New Orleans by her love for jazz and in the 1940s moved into an apartment right here at 726 St. Peter.  Over the years, we've enjoyed the frequent pleasure of seeing her here enjoying the music with her family and sharing stories about her remarkable life and career.  She will surely be missed.  Read more on this incredible woman in The Advocate.
