Happy Valentine's Day. Love, New Orleans

We made this video shortly after Hurricane Katrina.....it was a way for us to bring together our community, the ones who'd made it back, to express our love for our city and the people and things who made and make it so beautiful.  We shot it early in the morning right on St. Peter Street.  Our Artistic Director, Ron Rona directed it. We called on our family and friends to come out express every ounce of love in their heart..... "I CAN'T GIVE YOU ANYTHING BUT LOVE" features our family and friends and locations that are near and dear to our hearts..... Ernie K Doe, Miss Antoinette, the Camel Toe Lady Steppers, the Noisician Coalition, the Preservation Brass, Clint Maedgen and the Preservation Hot Five, Ryan and Marcy, Ms. Veronica Russell......many are still here in the city.... some have made their transition..... this morning we all felt the true meaning of love... watching it again reminds me of the importance, more than ever, of having love and compassion in our hearts or the sake of love and compassion....... Ben Jaffe
