The Salon Series At Preservation Hall

Salon(gathering): (sə-lŏn, sălŏn′, să-lôɴ) n.

A gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation.

Throughout its history, 726 Saint Peter Street has served as a space to foster artistic expression and pursuits across multiple disciplines - writers, artists, and in the late 1950s, music.  This fall, Preservation Hall once again brings together art, conversation, history and music in a collection of eclectic programs comprising the inaugural season of The Salon Series at Preservation Hall. We invite you to join us as we explore old and new sounds, images, and ideas presented by Artists from within the Hall’s musical collective and beyond.

Stay tuned.
