"A Tuba to Cuba" Selected at New Orleans Film Festival's Closing Night Screening

NEW ORLEANS - The Preservation Hall Foundation is excited and honored that the New Orleans Film Festival has selected “A Tuba to Cuba” for its closing night night screening.

The screening will take place on Thursday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Contemporary Arts Center.

After the movie, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band will perform as part of the closing party.

Co-directed by New Orleans' very own T.G. Herrington and rock photographer Danny Clinch, the film chronicles the unique and inspiring connection between Cuban and New Orleans musical heritages. The film follows the band as they trace the roots that gave birth to New Orleans jazz through post-embargo Cuba.
