Piano Conversations: Rickie Monie & Miguel “Miguelito” de Armas

The Preservation Hall Foundation hosted "The Professor" Rickie Monie together with Cuban pianist Miguelito for a unique exchange. The Caribbean spirit of this lively musical conversation is ringing through the Hall this week as 17 high school students from Havana's Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán are in a three-day educational residency and performing around the city. Be sure to come to their FREE performance, tonight, Thursday, January 5, 2017, at The George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center. The talented musicians from Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán will perform with various members of the Preservation Hall musical collective.
